 | reply to hobgoblin I was just transitioned from Adelphia to Road Runner a few minutes ago. My router picked up a 24 IP when I had a 69 IP before. |

 | reply to hobgoblin Hey Hob, Port Clinton, OH is part of the Cleveland system, but the Time Warner cable site kicks us to Mid-Ohio region, not Northeast Ohio, and I heard we were going to be put in with the Mid-Ohio group (as we are under the Toledo TV market, not the Cleveland market). If/when is this supposed to happen, or can someone fix TWC's web site so we finally get to a location that has our proper channel line-up and all that? Thank you. |

| reply to hobgoblin Ok...not to sound too dumb (but I am where this stuff is concerned)...how/where do we check to see if I HAVE been migrated? This is stuff I've never had reason to do a search. So, could you explain what I am supposed to do? Thanks. -- Lonnie |

will tell you what Ip address you have
If you go to the Start button / Run
and type in CMD you will get a Cmd window.
Type nslookup and then the IP address.
That will tell you the reverse name.
ie C:\Documents and Settings\hob>nslookup 24.5.45.6
Name: c-24-5-45-6.hsd1.ca.comcast.net Address: 24.5.45.6

I had to reboot my modem, router and computer to get things back to normal. But so far, everything is working fine. -- Dr. Web, BOCLEAN, Router/Firewall, Firefox, Acronis True Image |
