| Fios ordering Questuion
I want to order the Fios triple play tomorrow. I need to ask some one to explain what I will need for the Media DVR. My main TV is a 56 HD in the family room. I also have a 27 in HD LCD in my bedroom, and a 20 in lcd in guest room. Now i need to know what type of boxes to order for this setup in order to share the DVR. My main concern is having HD in my bedroom and family room. If i have been reading previous posts correctly I need to have a standard box somewhere correct? If so i figure that will go in guest room. Thanks in advance, I would like to order tomorrow if I get this info. |

| stnd $5 hd $10 dvr (hd/stnd) $13 multi-room dvr $20
Doesn`t sound like MRDVR is right for you. Currently it only works with Standard (not HD boxes) Stnd box can only watch recordings, no other functions of the DVR (DVR has no coax output, Hd box does; most likely for VCR since the coax and yellow video output is not HD)
The two DVR`s are the same box just programmed different. MRDVR makes sense for those with 2-6 Stnd boxes who want to watch recordings on all sets (only 2 at a time plus the DVR)
My opinion: DVR is a better value than HD Two DVR`s more value than MRDVR and only one Stnd box, for $1 more (twice as much recording capability, twice as much Hard Drive space, and ready for HD upgrade. |

| Sounds like you have three HDTVs. Do not get the multi room DVR. Does not work with HD. Get three HD Set top boxes for $10 per month each or three DVRs for $13 per month each or some combination of that. I have two DVRs and two HD set top boxes. You will not be able to share the recorded programs from the regular $13 DVRs. The regular $13 DVR records HD and SD. |
