 | Are You Freaking Kidding Me??? The company has long had a consistent and helpful presence in our forums. Karl, when you posted the above snippet, did you even bother to notice that there has been NO SpeakEasy presence in the SpeakEasy forum for over a year (basically, since Adam left the company)? SpeakEasy abandoned the non-business users a long time ago. This move into the Best Buy camp is just another move in the same path to sub-mediocrity. |

| Yes, good point. The decline I think started a while back once Mike Apgar became less involved and guys like Edward Bender left. Still, I was speaking about their presence here in general since 1999....the majority of that time they were highly responsive to customer complaints. |

No doubt: KatOak and AdamA were freaking awesome. It was the utter abandonment we felt when noone took their place that a lot of us began to lament the impending death of SpeakEasy. While SpeakEasy may now continue as an appendage of Best Buy, the SpeakEasy that most of us joined up for is now officially dead.
Anyone got good recommendations for an ISP that offers multiple static IPs, preferably in routable netblocks? |

Pretty much a small Speakeasy, from what bit I've read. I'll be considering them, though FIOS will likely win out. KM -- Don't Lie - Be Kind - Realize your Potential |
