| I hate to be the wet blanket, but public companies aren't in the habit of giving away profits unless they get something in return. Every business strategy has to end with ROI for its investors. Precisely what they have to gain from this isn't immediately apparent, but I can imagine the plan will present itself in due time. |

Comodos whole business plan is to get their products out there and talked about by being free for home users. Hoping that they get enough rave reviews that they can easily sell their products to small businesses and corporations. Yeah, when the day comes that they give Norton away, let me know. I wonder what the catch is? Free Version is limited or something? |

| reply to supergirl Scuse me, but I've been getting Norton free for 8 or 9 years (FREE AFTER REBATE FOR UPGRADERS)
BTW, I stopped using Norton several years ago, but I still get it to use as a competitor's upgrade. -- "The most affectionate creature in the world is a WET dog"---- Ambrose Bierce |

| reply to Oleg BoClean updates with new detections almost daily. I wonder if that will continue. As for Comodo firewall, no thanks. Tried it twice.
