Static Question.

So I have the 5 static setup which is covad..
(I miss the UUNet line.)

I am using the "UGH" BrightPoint 8120 they sent me.
The WAN address of the router has nothing to do with the block they have given me. It's a 172.X.X.X address.

Then the LAN side of my router has 64.X.X.129

Now I also have a similar setup from SBC.
Only the Router has one IP within my block.

If I use a router which does not have separate WAN and LAN IPs is this going to leave me with an extra IP? Or is this really just the Gateway address?
