Re: 3G has to be deployed first... Yeah it's a real mess in LA. Seems like I get 3G access along several freeways, but whenever I reach a destination I'm back to good ole Edge.

I drove to a friend's in Chandler, AZ (suburb of Phoenix). They've got Cingular 3G over there that really works like it's supposed to. Had a solid 3G signal all the way from Phoenix area to the suburb, and was able to use it at their place. It's very very nice.

Texas has all of its major cities covered
Florida has a lot of coverage.
L.A. is one of those cities that Cingular/AT&T just doesn't really care to compete in. |
