U-verse customer since February 10th, 2007. The service is pretty good. It's nothing to get SUPER excited for, as once you get the service(s), you realize it's really not above and beyond anything else you've probably used so far. Except now you're dealing with new service bugs and other small issues. I can see why even in places they offer it, why people wouldn't switch over. Nothing ground-breaking or new is being offered. I don't think most people care HOW their TV signal is delivered. The internet connection is fantastic, but I came from RR Premium (8Mbps/512kbps), so did I kind of downgrade? 
Either way, I'm very happy with it and besides a very rough start, it's been good to me, so far. I CAN say to those who want to switch, to remember that you're switching to a service that's in its early stages of infancy (does that make sense? ) so if you come from Satellite/Cable, your TV portion, especially the DVR provided, is gonna feel like you just stepped back a few years and lost all your features. |
