| After a long history of having no problems with virus's. I signed up for Clearwire to replace bellsouth DSL. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Almost the minute I plugged in Clearwire, it got me online (at a much slower speed than I was used to) and within a few seconds I was bombarded with alerts from my virus blocker and within a few minutes my PC was beyond usable condition with lots virus's. I eventually had to reload windows. Clearwire explained that this could not have been their system, although there were about 10 unhappy people in line, most with connection problems, but one with the same problem as me. I even had someone approach me in the parking lot "hey are you going to sign up, let me transfer my contract to you"
My advice to anyone who is considering Clearwire- Take the time to go to one of their stores to inquire about signing up. I will be surprised if you can even get in the door due to all the people trying to dump their service and threatening lawsuits to try to get their money back. |

| When I had problems with their service the Clearwire Tech told me it was my computer and instructed me to remove my anti-virus software from my computer. Guess I was right not to listen. I wonder how many others they've given the same advice. WOW! |
