I have a friend who lives in Georgia who's child is doing a class project. They read the book Flat Stanley and have sent out pictures of Stanley to friends all over the USA. Volunteers like me will be taking Stanley all over our area and taking pictures of him at various landmarks or famous places.
I live on LI and can take Stanly to the Fire Island Sea Shore, the light house at Montauk maybe, Bald Hill, Lake Ronkonkoma and several other well known attractions but I was wondering ...
... since I do not get into NYC more than once every few years could anyone who has pictures of classic NY attractions e mail them to me if they don't mind? I can, with a bit of editing, have Stanley Photoshopped into the picture.
This is OK because if we could not take a pic of Stanley at the actual place even a postcard would be OK.
So - anyone have any building, bridge or museum pictures they can offer up?
