| Two USR5451 AP on same network ? Hi all.
I have two 5451 AP on my office. My Office has two floors (~250m2 each) and I plan to place an AP each floor on same network to improve the coverage.
What is the proper settings for this kind of usage.
SSID : same IDs?
CHANEL : same or individual channels?
Encryption : Same encryption settings with same shared key?
And Other settings may have change or set. or distance of placement.
Can you help?

| The 2 units are talking to each other using WDS protocol so besides having same settings you should also enable WDS restriction on both units (wireless page) and enter wireless MAC address of the other unit.
If you use WPA PSK encryption I will recommend to use static LAN ip address for both APs (LAN page, enable static IP, IP address should be on the same subnet). |
