you're saying that AT&T prepared their new marketing campaign (the biggest in history, i believe) that incorporates rebranding all the pieces in AT&T's puzzle, but we're suppose to believe that they can't handle changing the existing more expensive BellSouth rates to the less expensive AT&T rates in a timely manner?
not buying it. they could have prepared for this in advance, just like they did with marketing. AT&T just didn't want to do that. it boils down to money and how they love it more than their children.
knowing AT&T, i believe that the BellSouth rates are what will be pushed on the rest of the country. more revenue, delievered to stockholders! |

| reply to morbo Relax...As much as you hate ATT, its just not as simple to go changing rates at the flip of a hat. Bellsouth has a completely different billing system/ordering system, then ATT does that has to be rewritten, and checked before distributed for use. The merger just completed the first of the year. Give them some time to absorb Bellsouth geeze.. |

said by morbo :is that really what AT&T is charging? i was told $19.99 for 3.0 and $35 for 6.0. The former Bellsouth area AT&T is still higher than the rest of the country as they don't compete in their pricing.

DSL Lite $24.95 - 256 Kbps/128 Kbps Maximum Downstream/Upstream DSL Ultra $32.95 - 1.5 Mbps/256 Kbps Maximum Downstream/Upstream DSL Xtreme $37.95 - 3 Mbps/384 Kbps Maximum Downstream/Upstream DSL Xtreme 6.0 $42.95 - 6 Mbps/512 Kbps Maximum Downstream/Upstream
Former SBC areas are much more competitive.
