See the problem here is that you people are not paying enough for your dsl, phone, etc to justify free tech support. ........SARCASM

No, that's actually correct. Free support isnt free, it costs companies tons of money. Abusers of free support are the biggest hit on an ISP's profit margin. (Even above greedy execs and stockholders, though not by much).
