Markets not yet transitionedHey guy's,
I am wondering how many areas have not yet been fully transitioned. I'll start off with north central Florida. Specifically 34481.
Thanks, Bob |

said by swintec:huntington, wv redhouse, wv We got a letter saying April 1st. But routing hasn't changed. It also said my bill would be different. But the random 5 minute outages seemed to have stopped. |

The only things different about our account are the Comcast name. the support info and the HSI name (the bill now says Comcast HSI without cable, it used to just say Premier), everything else, including the account number and the look of the bill is the same as Adelphia's. We were transitioned about 2 weeks ago here in Mendocino County in Northern California. |

This is region specific, it depends what billing system your local Comcast area is using and whether billing was migrated to that system Your version may vary. Hob |

For the long list above: "Markets" means entire metro areas, not all the suburbs. All of those cities at the top of the list are in ex-Adelphia's Buffalo based system. |

The cities listed are where the CMTS is located. If the city is listed, that means that the CMTS('s) for that city/area has not been migrated yet. Certainly a CMTS can serve several towns, so I guess the best thing to do is know which CMTS you are connected to (city). |

Yeah, that's true. Was Adelphia using the same billing system nationwide, or was it region by region like Comcast? |

I must admit not knowing how Adelphia split out all of its suburbs as far as hubs go...and do remember that here, in NE Ohio, the Cleveland-based system has separate feeds out of places like Bath and Hudson.
But...I'd assume they'd do, say, the entire Buffalo area at the same time, right? We transitioned here pretty much all at once on the same day (3/24). |
