Re: [XP home] after windows update comp won't boot. This has worked for me in the past. If you have the OS cd put it in the drive like if your going to install windows, reboot, the disk is going to detect your windows and ask you if you would like to install a fresh copy or repair. it's going to look like it's installing a fresh copy but it's just repairing. After it's done windows should boot up. If you don't know how to do this i can dig up some notes i keep because i dont know it by memory and post step by step on how to do this, just let me know. |
