| Have you taken your broken DVR to your local office for replacement? No? When my DVR broke I took it in and had my BRAND NEW, not refurbished DVR in seconds.

After reading this, I feel lucky we were transitioned to Comcast from Adelphia up here in Mendocino County in Northern California. Our email, network and account were switched over seamlessly, the only problem I have is getting them to push the right config file for the 8000/768 tier (we had 6000/768 with Adelphia, but when we got switched to Comcast they dropped our upload to 384, so I upgraded to Comcast's 8000/768 to get my upload back), but they're working on it.

Sorry, didnt mean to sound snotty... I happen to know that my local office has over 50 brand new DVR units in stock, and thats in the front office area of the building. I wonder why they cant transfer some out to where you are.

each area of TWC has its own warehouse for equipment and such. Also each area is different. You just can't send equipment from one division to another. TWC does not like that. |
