I know, this is the equivalent of "someone told me this" but, heck, I'll post it anyway.
A friend of mine who has one of these wireless cards faithfully checks each month to see how much bandwidth he has used. He claims he was averaging about 6-8GB a month. When I showed him the links from BBR yesterday about this marketing change, he then told me that Verizon no longer showed him his usage levels on their website anymore... -- Only SHATNER is Kirk. |

| There are still many Verizon users getting canceled lately. Check this thread. »www.evdoforums.com/thread2366-285.html
Sprint has no caps, has a larger, faster EVDO network, more RevA and roams on Alltel EVDO too (Verizon doesn't). Sprint also gives user control for forcing roaming and EVDO. And GPS on some cards. Verizon is falling behind when it comes to data. They just aren't a competitive player in wireless data anymore.
Verizon only has 27,000 towers with 60 million users. Sprint has 30,000 towers with 35 million users and are adding 4000 more towers this year on Nextel sites. This is probably why Verizon has a cap but Sprint does not. |

@spcsdns.net | Verizon would rather restrict users than properly build up the network with enough capacity.
Sprint has more spectrum and capacity than they know what to do with. WiMAX will step up the game even more. |
