Re: WOW Nextel is subsidizing some displacement expenses for stations in the affected channel range to speed up their relocation to below 700 MHz. That's entirely up to them (and the stations) but doesn't get either any sort of special treatment. This is to help resolve some longstanding interference issues.
The great majority of people don't care about "technology options". All they see are cell phones which barely work to make calls and all sorts of other things which amount to little more than ego bling. I'm all for technological progress but don't kid yourself. -- Toolmaster of La Grange. |
