| Actiontec model number
I've got a new HD-DVR being brought out tomorrow and had asked the CSR to have the technician bring one of the Actiontec routers out since I'm no longer on VOiP. Anyone know the current N. Texas model that is being provided by Verizon? Any reason why I should keep the DI-624 and NIM vs. making the switch (considering I can't get the DI-624 to take the WPA setup)? |

| While WPA does work on the Actiontec.... I wouldn't necessarily call it reliable. When I first got service, I setup the Actiontec with WPA and AES. Next day all wireless computers were offline (3 of them). Rebooted the router and all connections came back. Next day same problem. I am now using my old router as an access point hanging off the actiontec. fwiw |
