Re: PowerBoost - Roselle, NJ

I have, they still reply not yet here in Roselle, i just thought speed tiers can be had by all.

From this page www.comcast.com/blast if you put in my zip 07203 you are not offered Blast but if you put in 07081 which is a few miles up the road you get Blast offered

I've been getting download powerboost for over 5 months now, I just started getting upload powerboost today after a modem reboot.
I am about 1 hour south east of you. No 16/1 or blast in my area though.

Then why did you entitle your post that way ??

It's quite confusing....

The subject was about "Blast" not "powerboost"

The sales rep in the Union, NJ office sez that the codes for upgrading me to Blast are not there so it is not in your area yet.

Just was checking because i got answers that where all over the board.

They said to reboot so i get the powerboost well that didn't change a thing still getting about 8500 to 8800 down and 350 to 360 up, this i had to do first in order to set the modem codes for a blast update i would go from 42$ tier to 52$ tier service, all a no go she said she would call back in about 2 hours about the upgrade, she never called back.

I call them back the next day and was told by sales no such upgrade in your area.
i was hoping for a person right in my area had tried and was told the same.

Most of the people i talked to at comcast never heard of Blast

Thanks Ken
