I have been part of the Fairpoint Communications company since they bought Orwell Telephone in 1999. They are only cost cutters if it costs they a penny they will figure how to save that penny. I was sent several surveys by them in my emails when filled out if you leave somewhere to be contacted they will tell you if your unhappy they oversold there cablemodem service you'll get told dialup is only 23.95 for at best a 36.6 connection to the same oversold internet t1's. they have it made when there the only ones in town and yes i too have seen sub dial up seeds on their system Friday nights use to dip alllll the way doooowwwwn to 9k even makes google time out.
