| [Speed] Conversion from Adelphia to Comcast
Comcast converted me on Marts 1 to there system.
They managed to transfer the billing without any problems but downgraded my service to half of my previous, but still bill for the full amount that Adelphia was billing.
This is a commercial account. The speed was 6000/1500 kb, static ip, 10 e-mail accounts and 150 mb e-mail storage. Now it is 3000/768 kb dynamic IP as far as I have been told. I don't have anything about it except for what a nice customer rep told me.
Am I the only one or are there a lot of other customers that have been changed without there knowledge or notification?
The only reason that I discovered it was by pure accident in a promotion letter that looked like junk mail.

| What speed tier were you on with Adelpphia? When they transitioned our area (Mendocino County, Northern California) from Adelphia a couple of weeks go, I had my speed cut from 6000/768 to 6000/384. They seem to be cutting everybody to that standard tier when the switch happens, I fixed it though, I upgraded to the 8000/768 tier, and along with PowerBoost up and down, I am seeing up to 16000/2500, granted it is 8 more a month, but I did get back my 768 upload, and gained 2000 more in download. -- »www.gorail.org See MAJOR freight&passenger action@ the Galesburg, IL RailCam! »205.245.189.161:1100/ My soon to be employer,as an Asst.Conductor- »www.amtrak.com »www.modocrailroadacademy.com -Grad,Class of 2-07,woohoo! |
