[Speed] Slow speeds only on one computer

As of a few days ago, I've been getting slow speeds on only one of my computers. There's a router on the on I'm getting slow speeds on, but the one receiving wireless internet is getting advertised speeds of 6000/384.

Here's my tweak test. »/tweakr/block:···a=normal
and a speed test

I've got a motorola surfboard 4100, and here's its version.
Software Version: SB4100-1.4.9.0-SCM00-NOSH
Hardware Version: 0
MIB Version: II
GUI Version: 1.0

Re: [Speed] Slow speeds only on one computer

Assuming WinXP, etc., open Device Manager, right-click your NIC, select properties, and in the advanced properties, report the duplex settings: I always use Auto, but yours might be set to 10mbps half duplex.

OTOH, run the Tweak Test, change settings with Dr. TCP. This on its own can fix download speed problems.

Re: [Speed] Slow speeds only on one computer

My duplex settings are on Force 100 Full Duplex, and I am on XP and already ran tweak test.

What are the Tweak settings on the problem computer? You know you have to reboot for the settings to be effective since they are stored in the Registry?

Can you explain this setup:

"There's a router on the on I'm getting slow speeds on, but the one receiving wireless internet is getting advertised speeds of 6000/384."
