<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1056394"><b>Quaoar</b></A> : Assuming WinXP, etc., open Device Manager, right-click your NIC, select properties, and in the advanced properties, report the duplex settings:  I always use Auto, but yours might be set to 10mbps half duplex.<br><br>OTOH, run the Tweak Test, change settings with Dr. TCP.  This on its own can fix download speed problems.<br><br>Q]]></description>
