That's because Verizon Wireless is owned in majority by a Telco.
Also, there is a limit to spectrum ownership in each market, which means there is limited capacity. |

B. There is barley enough capacity to get a cable modem running off a tower (all users put together). FIOS speeds, forget about it unless the FCC cancels all the radio channels of the DoD. |
