Re: Usage based?

Sprint already offers an EVDO router for consumers for under $200, no limits. Many on evdoforums.com have been using the KR1 EVDO router for over a year. Sprint allowed it, Verizon didn't, but VZW users use it anyway but have a better chance of hitting the 5GB/month limit.

Now VZW only allows it with a special expensive plan, not allowed with core EVDO cards.

Sprint is pretty open about it, behaving like a real ISP. VZW is all about closed options, slower performance, 5GB/month limit and a draconian TOS.
