Microsoft → [Excel] PCL XL error when printing multiple copies of spreadshee

I have a user running WinXPSP2/Office 2k3. When she tries to print multiple copies of a spreadsheet with a print area specified, the first copy comes out fine, but the subsequent copies come out:

PCL XL error
Subsystem: KERNEL
Error: IllegalOperatorSequence
Operator: EndChar
Position: 30

Any ideas?

try removing then reinstalling the printer driver
