Ok, I know it sounds crazy but it's all part of the master plan. Think about it. They're in the process of killing off VoIP, CLECs have been banned from the RTs, and now they're going to temporarily sacrifice their own wireless service by making cellular phones illegal. We'll all be held hostage to their landline networks and be forced to pay telco prices.
A few years from now when the other wireless guys are bankrupt, Ed and Ivan will debunk the study and have the telco lobbyists pay the politicians some money so they can turn the telco's wireless networks back on.
And Ma Bell lives happily ever after! |
