Bye Bye inexpensive phone service.

After Verizon gets done with Vonage, it will be in a better position to do what it does best, screw the consumer.

Net2phone has been doing VOIP since 1996, according to its website at - »www.net2phone.com/about/

If Verizon's patents are older than Net2phone, then they've got about 6 years at most for them to run out (patents are for 17 years). If they're newer than Net2Phone then there has to be a solution that doesn't violate Verizon's patents as Net2Phones VOIP predates the patents.

Either a 6 year wait, or figure out what Net2Phone was up to back in 1996 for VOIP if the Verizon ruling holds on appeal.
