[Other] Blackberry Network Down

I work IT support for a company, and all our Blackberry Users are unable to use their data service... PIN messages don't get thru.

Apparently Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, et al are currently experiencing some type of Blackberry/RIM data service network outage.

Any others have any info on this?

Yeah Blackberry servers at ATT basically threw up on themselves not to long ago. I stopped receiving my email and text messages on my Pearl for about half a day. I power cycled my device and few other clients of mine and it cleared everything up. I also had to make some calls and get a few people reactivated on the blackberry side. Seems like the issue has been fixed and everything has been working fine as of late.

Here is a new article on the outage. It appears the problem was solved.

What time did everyone come back online? Our server started connecting around 11AM, yet the WNBC site said the issue was resolved by 7AM. I assumed (and what I told our users) that the servers were overloaded as they recovered.

On another note, I loathe Blackberry's skeletal support when it comes to errors in the log files for BES.
