I don't usually post this crap but this one amazed me!! That these cops 900 of them as far as am concerned.And none of them seem to upset or concerned about this Kid Amazing just Amazing.

The crowd begins to get angry after officers refuse to take the situation seriously, even as two women insist the juvenile is not OK. Only after he begins foaming at the mouth do officers call for the ambulance while everyone just stands around waiting. It takes over seven minutes for help to arrive.
YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK!! In a city that size that they the Police are that bored with nothing to do,except watch a kid overdose on drugs.Only in America folks!

what i say is some people you cant knock on for selling dope. some people do it just to support their families because they dont know nothing else. some people dont have the same opportunities growing up. and in cali, its three strikes your out, kid probably got scared. i dont blame him |

Kind of on the long side, but a good video. It would have been better if the video showed the arrest and then cut to him expiring in the ambulance, or something more dramatic. That would have made the video much better.

The police didnt make him swallow the drugs. That was his own stupidity but we live in a society where it is always another person's fault, that way we can sue and never have to work.
The woman running her mouth and criticizing actually would have done a lot of harm if the police hadnt stopped her. You never offer or give fluids to someone with an altered level of consciousness. As long as he was moving or breathing, I really didnt see a need for the police to check his pulse. They did the correct thing by putting him in the recovery position so when he did vomit he wouldnt choke. |

7 minutes is fairly quick in my opinion. Especially!!!! When it's the police officer's duty to secure the suspect first. They handcuffed the dude checked him for weapons and then attempted to assist him to a patrol car. I say A++ textbook work as far as they handled the situation.
They were not abusing the suspect but maintaining a calm and professional manner. Just because there are people there creating a scene doesn't mean the police were not behaving correctly. As we only have a portion of this encounter, we can not fully ascertain the circumstances to his arrest. Did they have to chase him down, show previous signs of resisting arrest and did the police originally believe he was armed all of those questions are left unanswered by this video snippet. Finally, it was the suspect who put his life in danger by ingesting the drugs and ultimately an ambulance did arrive to assist him.
Hopefully, he recovered from his poor judgment and maybe spent some time in a juvenile detention center for his criminal acts. Perhaps he's learned a few lessons...

No, it's far easier for me to see a video of cops doing their job, develop an opinion based on that 30 second clip, and then run around proclaiming to everybody that cops are evil pigs.
I mean, here we have an upstanding citizen, a true contributor to society, who was treated completely inappropriately and denied the proper medical attention he deserved. Of course, since the drug user was "a baby" he shouldn't have been arrested in the first place. What is America coming to?
