She was probably too much of a pain to deal with, if she truly thought there was deceit behind his silence. If the situations were reversed - and he broke up with her for the same reason - then I'd tell her to go enjoy her life without the psycho boyfriend.
If a lawyer actually believes this has merit and decides to take it to court, he should be disbarred.
