I just chatted with Comcast.. here it is for the amusement value at least:

Gary:Hi Joanna! Currently Northeast Comcast customers cannot reach a number of sites (via http request) hosted at pair.com and many others due to an apparent return routing issue - what's the ETA for a fix?
Joanna:We appreciate that you have taken the time to alert us of the current issue. Our engineers are aware of the issue, and are already investigating. We do not have an estimated time of resolution, but we are confident that services will be restored shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused. Please be assured that we will use this event as an opportunity to learn, and the information we gather will be applied towards making our network even more reliable.

Joanna:You're welcome, will there be any other questions or concerns I can help you with this evening?
