NetFixer See Profile is absolutely truthful in saying there's not anything he can do about that post's continued existance. At this point, if there is a complaint about it, it should be taken up with the site management. Contact emails can be found on the site's contact page:

Since you have done that, then it's pretty much Game Over here in the forum.

The man has apologized publicly for any offense he may have given you by simply speaking what he felt to be the truth. The time to have dealt with it was 2 years ago. Not now.

there is no law preventing a person to state that a company is being untruth of its obligations.

the word infamous can also mean the infamous of scams going around, it can be defined with many examples.

what netfixer did , is not wrong.

what the other dude is doing is.

Dear Mr. Royce Shofner,

I really don’t have time to dealing with each of your postings but let me make this clear Mr. Royce Shofner use your chance to get this resolved properly and in good faith or otherwise I will be forced to have to have this dealt with in the right forum. The idea is that you may think you are right or you may find out later (after wasting time and money) that are wrong now what would this be worth to you Mr. Royce Shofner?

You never met me we don't know each other it seems like you are on some mission here.

Do you know who Klaas is?

I bet you dont because if you did you would be apologizing. The basis of most of your statements came from postings from an ill source. Did you know that Updated went to court with that poster Mr. Royce Shofner? That was a case we already dealt with and you will find out the truth in time if you really want and it won't help your case at all.

In addition most other anonymous posts were from that same guy doing exactly what you told me you didn't think was right when we spoke on the phone.

You made representations that were offensive to me personally and to Updated.com. The truth is that you will be responsible for your actions.

Now I will ask you again to apologize and to ask that they remove your posts. If you are not so busy why don't you go and do something good in your neighborhood, you seem to have a lot of free time, maybe you can spend it helping some non profit organization instead of doing this and be wasting other peoples valuable time. Use your time, your $50 an hour (or whatever you charge your clients for your network services) and donate it for something good instead of wasting our time with this.

You were advised by many on this board to hire an attorney, I think you should just take your posts down. Its better to admit you may have made a mistake and ask to remove the posts and then move on to better things.

IMHO anyone that gives you legal advise without being a professional and researching the issues in depth would most likely be giving you ill advise.

I hope you just do the right thing.

Sincerely,
N P

And you're not paying attention. It might behoove you to lower the smugness level, which doesn't play well here under these circumstances, and TAKE the time to read the posts, especially those posted by a moderator:

This thread has moved from weird to just plain creepy. I think everyone on this forum (save for the anonymous poster) and anyone who has spent more than 20 minutes using the internet has a pretty good feel for what's going on here. Can't someone lock this thread before it goes too far?

I also love the concept of actually paying any attention to threats from a totally anonymous poster... (No CajunTek isn't my real name, but there are a few members here who actually do know who I am)

La Luna,

Thank you for bringing that post to my attention and I respect the fact that he apologized. I hope that the site management proposes a good solution.

Well in return if indeed Royce wants to do better I would in return make a good deed and would offer Royce a job if he can do some work to improve our server network setup. I would rather do that than have to hire an attorney over this matter. Royce are you interested? can we talk business instead of this?

I truly like to see something productive come out of all this and hope Royce agrees too.

Let me know.

Thank you

NP

Dear Mr. N_P:

I had no idea who you were up until you raised this issue. Based on your posts I now have a very negative idea of who you are. You're making the situation - and your public image - much worse with your posts.

The OP did apologize, even though he believed at the time, and had documentation to support those beliefs, that what he stated was true. He has no power to delete those posts. His responsibility has ended.

You have a few screws loose buddy.

First you threaten NetFixer See Profile with legal action with some bogus claims for something that he wrote on a public forum over 2.5 years ago, now you want to offer him a job? I want whatever you've been smoking. Like the others said, you just made the situation much worse for yourself, and nobody else.

BTW, what did you do for the past two and a half years? Hibernate?
