Saint Louis, MO | $$$ YAHOO only desires to make money for it's share holders and wishes to express it's displeasure with China's political climate by inviting the US State Department to do all it can to relieve the pressure China puts on it's journalists and dissidents. Unfortunately Yahoo can do very little in the area of Human Rights promotion since it conflicts with it's profit motive. My suggestion is that we all help Yahoo in it's quest for Human Rights by 1) Divesting ourselves of any and all holdings with YOO and MYH on AMEX and YHOO on NasdaqGS. 2)Not using yahoo.anything other than to find advertisers and inform them that as a consumer you will not look fondly upon their products due to their affiliation with YAHOO. This is going to be my new hobby for the next few weeks. If Don Imus can get fired for being a jerk, YAHOO can take some heat for helping a communist country put it's critics in prison. |
