The reason why the manufacturer isnt responsible in this bill (my opinion) is that motorola hq is right up in hoffman estates (north west burbs). Oh the tangled web we weave.

manufacturers do not have 100% control of the software on phones and a phone that breaks may have something to do with the Cell phone companies network, software and so on.
