If you're paranoid (most likily are), get some shock sensors placed on your packages. Send the sensor to the host in advanced.

1 edit | The Facts -
Automation - It depends on what hub you are in and in what part of the country. The two largest hubs I know for a fact have automation and use it very efficiently. Chicago has one, Chicago Area Consolidation Hub or CACH, is located off highway 294. CACH sorts around 1.5 million ground packages a day. The other hub is in Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville, or SDF, is UPS's largest airhub. On an average night, they sort around 650,000 Next Day Air, 2 Day, and 3 Day Select. They see around 100 aircraft a day to ship it out all over the world.
Package Handling - UPS teaches hand to surface methods to ALL employees. Obviously you see in the video that this is not happening. UPS realizes this is a huge problem with the amount of money they pay in damaged packages. Right now UPS is starting a massive campaign to reduced the number of damaged packages and begin to care more about the quality of work.
Discipline - It might be hard to discipline this driver because the name of the town is not given, nor the address of the package being delivered. Also, you can not see the number of the truck, which would help greatly. |

He/she spent some good money to videotape his place but couldn't drop $10 at Homedepot for hedge trimmers?

| reply to IllIlIlllIll I'll stay out of the discussion but, I'd just like to know ahat kind of Security recording device you used. What brand and model. The video looks good and I am in the market for a security DVR for my residence. But I am a little bummed about the lack of resolution on each individual camera view. Is that a fault of the cameras involved or a limitation of the recording device?
Thanks |

Is that a fault of the cameras involved or a limitation of the recording device? Thanks thats because when i recorded it, at the time, i did not specifically choose a frame out of the 4 displayed. when i posted the video, i edited, cropped and resized each frame from the original video and combined those frames in sequence, thats why theres loss of resolution. the cameras, i forgot what brand, but are color, water/weather proof, infrared sensitive with infrared LED's (about 150 of them). the quad processor at the time was a b/w one and since i have upgraded to a color unit. the DVR unit i am using to record is an old "ReplayTV 2000" i changed the hard disk to a 160GB, its strictly for the camera system. the microphones are electret condenser type and i weather-proofed them myself. there are four microphones on each corner of the house. in quad mode, all 4 mics can be heard at once. the time of the video recording, i did not have a compressor inline for the sound, which case i do now. -- S.C.P.D.
