USR9108 - Latest FW

Hi All...

After I installed latest FW (USR9108A-07-19-06.bin) to my 9108, ADSL connection started to drop every 2 or 3 days in a week. Also still I can not set DMZ IP. After power off/on DMZ IP turns to 192.168.0.0

Is there some one have any opinion?

Re: USR9108 - Latest FW

You can try creating a backup file for your router, then restore the factory defaults, then restore your backup file. However this would probably be your best fix if possible; If you know all your router settings or can write them down, I would restore factory defaults and then reconfigure the router from scratch. Also US Robotics is aware of this DMZ issue and is working on a firmware fix that will be posted to their website in the coming weeks. However the connection being dropped after a couple days may be something with your local ISP or phone service, because I have the same 071906 firmware and my unit is always on without a reboot. Also check that you have micro filters on your telephone devices (phone, fax, etc).

Re: USR9108 - Latest FW

Thank you for your reply. I am going to try your factory reset advice about fixing DMZ issue.

ADSL line dropping problem is related with ISP as you told I think. Last week a did not have problem.

Re: USR9108 - Latest FW

I remembered that I have already did that reset thing when I upgraded the firmware 2 weeks ago. It does not work.

I posted to USR tech. support this issue but they forward me to local support which has no idea about the subject.
