During the 6 years I had Sprint, I had 2 phones - a Qualcomm 2760 that was $15 after rebeates (for 2 consecutive 1-year contracts) and then a Sanyo 4900 that was $50 out the door with instant rebates and a new 2-year contract (stayed on that plan month-to-month afterwards. More minutes and usually lower price than the newer plans). I ended up dropping them mostly for pricing - I averaged less than 10 minutes a month, and Tmobile prepaid is a lot cheaper for that usage ($100=1000 minutes good for a year with rollover). In the areas where I use the phone (especially in my house) Tmo's coverage is much better too. |
