And, Hello! New phones are typically under a one year warranty, if they are faulty you can usually get a replacement no problem.
The problem with government is that they feel constantly like they have to have a solution to everything. This results in garbage legislation like this, that ultimately would not really benefit anyone. And, something that was long ago addressed by cell phone manufacturers. Meanwhile, more critical issues get ignored and for what.
