If it's only a few seconds, I'd think they could just send the channel you've selected, + 2 or 3 in either direction ( times 2 for dual tuner boxes ). Since there's a lag anyway in changing from the guide, I think people would expect that. Freeing up bandwidth can only be good..

What I've been hearing/reading during testing is that it is actually FASTER in most cases tuning a SDV channel then a linear channel.
