Hey any bump in speed is greatly appreceated, Rogers or not. Good thing too. Thought I was going crazy when my downloads were coming in at 7Mbps. Very nice in deed:) |

Extreme should get bumped up to 10Mbps.
Actually it should be 10/1 and extreme plus 18/1.5! |

has been updated to reflect the new speeds.
Extreme is 8Mbps, Express is 7Mpbs
So why is it that Extreme went form being 3Mbps faster then express, down to 1Mbps? |

| reply to verve not sure what happened today but im down to 6.5mb from 8.1mb... wtf is rogers doing?... the internet usage tracking is not working anymore either... giving me that same old error that 'theyre experiencing difficulties'... God they cant even handle 8mb and in the US people are getting upgraded to 25mb |

How fast can these modems go anyways? Any chance of getting faster upload speeds too? It would be useful for me so I can host better multiplayer games. |

Has Anyone in the New Brunswick area seen a speed increase yet? i have been power cycling my modem every few days hoping to see an increase Unfortunately not, everyone reporting the increases thus far are either in Ontario or Newfoundland. Not one person in New Brunswick has confirmed an increase of speeds at this time. |

@rogers.com | reply to verve Lite, Express & Extreme are to be increased 1mb/s each. Its already been done but will be anounced soon. For those who havent, reboot your modems to get the new config file and higher speed. |

1 edit | reply to MikeG Mr Cable, thank you for proving exactly what I was saying ... The Toronto speedtest.net site is crappy.
If you're not maxing out on Cogeco that's kind of odd.
I don't max out on Chicago or NY speakeasy test sites ... but come close. Rogers is strange but then it's flash.
MikeG ... uploadingit isn't on canaca ... it's hosted in dallas! (You know, I hadn't seen the "sponsored by" pane since it's only there during the actual transfer! So I really don't know where that toronto server actually is. |
