We're paying the price for lousy science education ...
If the level of general science knowledge among the population was a little bit bit better than what it is now (i.e., abyssmal), we wouldn't be having this problem. Everyone would just laugh off the Angal Lady when she says "Wi-Fi is radiation, and all radiation is dangerous".
