What is joule
Some surge protector manufacture, will give some type of insurance for using their protectors.

3 edits | When we get storms here I use to just unplug the phone line and also the power cord. I don't use dialup at all anymore so I don't have to do phone cord. Also it's a good idea to just unplug everything completely including any broadband modems, routers, and possibly any audio systems that plug into your sound card although I don't know about the latter. |
