Re: Mafia game 5

I'd be happy if you guys didn't mind waiting, I really don't want to sit out. =)

Tell you what. I'll make the signup thread and start mapping everything out while I have some time this afternoon. That way I'll have the IMs set to go out before I go to work Monday morning.

Also, can someone confirm, or help me test, how the IM system here works? There's a way to send IMs to multiple recipients, but I'm not sure if the complete list is disclosed to each recipient or if it's somehow discoverable.

Clues? Help?

we should wait until monday to start...games that start on weekends always start really slow...so i'm down with it if we start on monday...
I agree with Mr. Mafia . Maybe just the regular signup/discussion thread for now and a Monday start?
lol...that's mr. godfather to you my friend...

i was in fact the don...

yock, i'd say make sure you give the godfather, cop and doc a way to email you. that made sending in choices easier as i never had to get onto the site. i would just email dez and stay off the site during that time in case anyone was watching logon times...

I think the Townies were weak and confused lategame, and it got me killed. The person who pushed hardest on the Razor vote jumping me was a sure indictment, but no one seemed to care, and instead went along with 'well, you voted last, so you're mafia'. Pffffft.

The last game I moderated I gave them my e-mail address, they just didn't use it. That's why I pushed so heavily for us to do it that way.

Making that final push for a vote against you was a calculated risk on my part, but I knew we had a better than 80% chance of winning last night with our whack choice.

I think what hung you in the end was how defensive you were...

Yeah, I agree. What I should have done was ignore and point out that you pushed hardest, and -hopefully- someone else would take it up from there. At that point in the game I really needed to eliminate some Mafia, and I got excited because I busted you. But, I learned that it doesn't matter at all what you say, it's just your way of going about it.

that's seeming more and more true. i stayed with a laid back attitude for games 4 and 5 and it seems to have worked.

I'd like to sit out of the next one, but I want in the one after that. I am available to mod though.

Ahem... late-game? The townies were confused throughout the game.

I think it allows you to send to many and all the people get is multiple receipients message... I think. You can try - I'll let you know.
