What the heck is up with Verizon!?!
I got buisness ISDN BRI through them 4 months back, the sales guy told me it would be $45/month, so we got the service and ISP'd through another company. Fast forward to now. They bill us every 4 months so this is our first bill. its was $470. $100.70 of that was installation, and the rest was stuff we couldnt figure out, the bill is so confusing. we also find out that they charge us 2 cents a minute for every minute the modem is connected. The sales guy never told us this. He said flat $45/month. with the quoted rate and installtion, our bill should be around $200-somthing. has anyone ever been cheated like this? Don't get me wrong, the ISDN service itself is flawless, but we were told nothing about a bill of this size.

I don't have Verizon anything, but I remember reading somewhere in this forum that if you don't ask for a specific package from them that you will get the per hour charge.
Someone with Verizon isdn experience will respond eventually to your post. Hopefully with greater detail, and help.

You need to get the Verizon Virtual Office packages, its a business package that is around 48 per month(with a 2 year contract) unlimited data usage. My bill is around $115 per month but that includes a business phone line that I had to have to qualify for the ISDN. I too was surprised with all the installation charges and such when it was first installed. My first bill was around 389, but now I get billed 115 every month so I can handle that.
