Re: for $99.00, it's a deal I agree - separate VOIP is still a techie market. While I haven't had any problems with my provider in 18 months, my troubleshooting skills are probably better than your average subscriber. 
If I were a cable company or even the local carriers, my marketing strategy would be "It just works, and when it doesn't, we'll figure it out." |

1 edit | YES, I think the techies actually enjoy the challenge of trying to figure out what is wrong when the service goes down. Too much drama for me. I would wind up going back to POTS or using my cell phone exclusively if I ran into service issues w/indy VoIP's or Digital Phone.
Good marketing strategy, though, Verizon would have a fit. They would now sue for using their marketing strategies - there're always on commercials - I think they are hillarious.  |
