Has anyone had any experience with Dragonwave or Ceragon. I have a shot under 5 miles that needs a licensed link. I'm going to need about 60 megs. Interference is extreme.

Take a look at Dragonwave's new Horizon Compact. A 50 Mbps unit is about $14,000 and 100Mbps is $15,000 for 18GHz.

For 5 mile 60Mbps link choose 11Ghz to 18Ghz - you will see more outages with 24Ghz and 38Ghz may not work.

I have swayed a few IT guys choose Ceragon over Dragonwave but I am re-evaluating. Main reason was that Ceragon was more established, easier to buy on-line, and less expensive if you stay below 100Mbps.

The nice thing about the Horizon Compact is that it's simply at Cat5 cable to the unit. This makes it an easy swap with existing equipment. No indoor/outdoor like other licensed solutions.
