Has anyone had any experience with Dragonwave or Ceragon. I have a shot under 5 miles that needs a licensed link. I'm going to need about 60 megs. Interference is extreme. |

Baltimore, MD | Take a look at Dragonwave's new Horizon Compact. A 50 Mbps unit is about $14,000 and 100Mbps is $15,000 for 18GHz.

For 5 mile 60Mbps link choose 11Ghz to 18Ghz - you will see more outages with 24Ghz and 38Ghz may not work.
I have swayed a few IT guys choose Ceragon over Dragonwave but I am re-evaluating. Main reason was that Ceragon was more established, easier to buy on-line, and less expensive if you stay below 100Mbps. |

Baltimore, MD | The nice thing about the Horizon Compact is that it's simply at Cat5 cable to the unit. This makes it an easy swap with existing equipment. No indoor/outdoor like other licensed solutions.
