Seems I remember them charging a fee for not having a LD provider a while back when they were Bell Atlantic. I think this is a fee for having Verizon LD, but not using it. |

| reply to MxxCon Customer has 'a la carte' long distance service (i.e. has long distance service on a pay per minute). While I don't completely agree with the service fee, its similar to charging a $2 minimum for any LD service. The worst part was having to pay extra to have it cancelled.
Pretty much everything is a la carte. |
