Re: [X] iSync problems with the Moto RIZR

I am able to get it to sync over USB with the plugin so I know my settings must be right. It just doesn't sync properly over Bluetooth (gives the above error). The weird thing is the both DUN and file transfers over Bluetooth work fine so it must be something related to how iSync tries to connect. I also gave OnSync a shot and it has a similar timeout problem. I'd have to guess it is a problem with the T-Mobile firmware - any suggestions?

Has anyone had any luck syncing the RIZR and iSync? I have a T-Mobile branded RIZR and I am not having any luck. I am able to get the phone to pair with my Mac via Bluetooth and can get iSync to recognize it using this plugin ->

I am pretty confident my phone is working fine - I am able to send/recieve files via the Send File app and I can pair and use it as a DUN modem without a problem. iSync recognizes the phone correctly; however, I get this error when connecting.

21:20:44.974 [iSync:772] ERROR (.serial-at.operation): Time out talking AT with channel... channel is now in a bad state

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? Google hasn't turned up anything helpful.

I am using

iSync Version 2.4 (501.2) on Mac OS X 10.4.9 (x86)
the RIZR has this firmware: R452F1_G_08.02.09R

the phone ID's itself as:

+CGMI: "Motorola CE, Copyright 2000"
+CGMM: "GSM900","GSM1800","GSM1900","GSM850","MODEL=Z3"
+GMM: "GSM900","GSM1800","GSM1900","GSM850","MODEL=Z3"
+GMI: "Motorola CE, Copyright 2000"

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks!
