I guess you !diot$ are spending more time trying to figure out ways to nickel and dime people then to just deliver service. I think Cablevision is right in their Optimum Voice commercials. The phone company just adds fees upon fees upon fees. Thankfully I had dropped all long distance on my landline some time ago in favor of my cell phone and Skype. So far they have not charged me (yet?) for the privilege of not having LD service. If they do, I will finally drop them once and for all. As it is, I pay $30/month just so I can keep my incoming number. -- I support the right to keep and arm bears. |

You can get a SkypeIn phone number for about $3 a month. My only issue is that you can't check your voice mail without the Skype program. The main benefit is that phone number works wherever you have a computer, and you can get a phone number anywhere in the country. |
